Schools

The administrators that deal daily with the education in the Sabetha School system stress academic achievement.  A foundation of good solid education is the top priority in the Sabetha Schools beginning in pre-school through the college courses available through the high school.

The public schools consist of three different buildings, Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, all on the same campus.  We have five preschools:  Sabetha Community Preschool, First Lutheran Preschool, U.S.D. 113 Preschool, Northridge Preschool and NEK-CAP HeadStart.

Although academic programs are stressed, they are balanced well with the extra-curricular activities: Vocational programs, school clubs, and organizations as well as special education for the educationally handicapped and programs for the gifted children.  Sabetha has an excellent athletic program with outstanding teams in football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track, cross-country, golf, and tennis.  Weight training is available for all athletes.

Sabetha Has an outstanding music program and student always receive recognition state-wide both in vocal and instrumental music.

The news media has labeled Sabetha as a “Title Town”! They have won back to back state championships for Golf 2018 -2019, Football 2017-2018, and Baseball 2018-2019.
